Hong Kong Cultural Center

The Hong Kong Cultural Center is a modern and contemporary building in Hong Kong. This extravagant construction is located at the popular and exclusive Salisbury Road in the old Kowloon. This emblematic landmark in Hong Kong is really convenient to visit because it is pretty close to Tsim Sha Tsui. The project was an initiative of the Urban Council who inaugurated the center on November 8th, 1989. Nowadays, the Hong Kong Cultural Center is managed by the Cultural Services and Leisure of Hong Kong Government.

Cultural Centre Hong Kong This cultural spot is considered as the most important center to find a wide variety of performances such as plays, concerts and some art exhibitions. In addition, there are amusing family shows on weekends at 3:00 PM. These shows include several presentations of Chinese dance, Magic shows, puppetry and concerts of traditional Chinese and Western music.

The Hong Kong Cultural Center is actually a complex of few cultural installations that include a concert hall, some saloons for art exhibitions and some theatres. Near this cultural spot, visitors can find other important landmarks such as the Museum of Art, the Avenue of Stars, the Space museum and the Tsim Sha Tsui Clock tower. Moreover, there is a popular restaurant where travelers can see some ships, enjoy the sea breeze and try the delicious Dim Sum.
