Shopping in Hong Kong

Hong Kong is a beautiful island and one of the most populated islands in the world filled with amazing monuments and places to spend a good time. Hong Kong is considered by shoppers as a paradise, where one can buy from the most Hong Kong’s Traditional articles to the last generation articles that is why shopping is almost one of the most common hobbies and pastimes among citizens in Hong Kong, either at the airport, in the cinema or simply visiting a museum, you cannot go away from the culture of the consumerism.

As we said before, Hong Kong boasts a large number of huge shopping complexes, which are called “Megamalls” that host an endless number of shops, cinemas and luxurious restaurants. Among the most important Megamalls in Hong Kong are included:
  • Harbor City: Harbor City is the largest Mall in Hong Kong, and one of the largest in Asia. This amazing Mall covers an area of approximately 8Km housing more than 700 outlets including gyms, shops, restaurants, supermarkets and cinemas. If you want to visit this mall, remember to buy at least a map because it is very easy to get lost. Harbor city is open daily from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm.

  • IFC Mall: IFC is one of the classiest malls in Hong Kong, housing more than 200 shops including restaurants, cinemas and food stores. Some of its main features are its open-air terraces with beautiful views, from where you can see the Harbor. IFC Mall is open daily from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.

  • Times Square: This is a beautiful and one of the most visited malls offering 16 floors filled with different kind of shops. In its basement there are several fast food outlets, the next six floors offer clothing, shoes and other accessories. Times Square as mot shops is open daily from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Apart from these malls, there are other several malls in Hong Kong that makes this city one of the most coveted cities to buy. If you visit Hong Kong, it is not rare to see tourist from all over the world buying in these malls.
